Jimmy Moon established Moon Guitars in 1979 in a small workshop on the Island of Arran in Scotland.  His reputation grew quickly and he was soon making and repairing instruments for many of Scotland’s finest musicians.
 
25th Anniversary Limited Edition
In 2004 we celebrated 25 years of Moon Guitars and to commemorate this milestone, we produced a special 25th Anniversary Model. This was a limited edition (10 only) – made from Brazilian rosewood and a choice of Master Grade Sitka Spruce or Master Grade ‘Bear Claw’ Sitka Spruce. The guitar was fully appointed and featured a hand engraved 225th Anniversary” scroll on the headstock and a special signed and dated inner label.
